Overview

SafeMark Labs provides private reporting and decision-support software for organizations. This notice explains how SafeMark handles information through our website, applications, support communications, and authorized service connections.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer information for third-party advertising.

Information we handle

Depending on how SafeMark is used, we may handle the following categories of information:

How we use information

Organizations and connected data

Organizations determine which systems they connect, which information they authorize SafeMark to process, and which users may access their reporting. SafeMark uses connected information to provide services to that organization and does not use it to create advertising profiles.

If your information was supplied to SafeMark by an organization, that organization may be the appropriate first contact for an access, correction, or deletion request. We will assist the organization as reasonably required.

When information is shared

We may disclose information in these limited circumstances:

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

The public SafeMark website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our application may use cookies or similar storage that is necessary for authentication, security, and basic service operation.

Because SafeMark does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, browser-based Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not currently change our practices.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, meet an organization's instructions, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the purpose for which it is used.

When an authorized organization disconnects a service, we stop future access to that connection and follow the applicable agreement or written instructions for export, retention, and deletion. Some information may remain temporarily in protected backups or be retained where required by law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. These include access controls, encrypted connections, restricted credentials, service monitoring, and efforts to limit collection and access to what is needed. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and relationship with SafeMark, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. You may also ask questions about how information is used. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

To make a request, contact support@safemarklabs.com. If an organization supplied your information, we may refer the request to that organization.

Children

SafeMark is designed for authorized organizational use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the public website.

Changes

We may update this notice as SafeMark and its practices develop. We will update the effective date above and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change is material.
